Term 2 - Remembrance Day
Dickinson Class had a "poppy" themed day to learn about Remembrance Day and why it happens every year. The pupils began the day by watching the Remembrance Rabbit video and talking about how it made them feel. We then had a Remembrance themed Attention Autism, in which the pupils took turns coming to pick poppies from the mud and then made their own poppies. We then explored making our own field of poppies by marbling paper with shaving foam and paint and then choosing between purple or red to print poppies onto the "grass". Finally, we made poppy sun catchers with tissue paper and laminating sheets to finish off our display.
